Deep Flow Yoga

Deep Flow is a type of yoga that moves with the breath.

My teaching style is more about the feel of the pose rather than the look. Making it suitable for all levels, using the posture to introduce you to parts of the body you’ve not met before and feeling your way through the practice, I shall take you on a journey through the body, searching out any tension and breathing through to release.

Building the internal heat you will find yourself flowing with breath into many different postures and ending in relaxation.

I bring in spiritual texts and the deeper meanings of life, causing you to think about your journey through this life and how to make the best of it.

We use pranayama (breathing exercises) to cleanse the body and clear the mind that lead us towards meditation and relaxation.

I’ll always add modifications and adaptations to the more challenging postures.

Throughout the Week in Woodbridge

I also hold sessions throughout the week at The Yoga Room in Woodbridge, find the schedule and online booking at http://www.theyogaroomsuffolk.com

I’d advise you to not eat a heavy meal before class, a light snack to keep you going is advisable.

What to wear? Loose clothing that’s easy to move in and breathable, wear layers that you can take off as you warm up and place back on once you’ve finished.

Yoga for Equestrians

Currently this is on a break new classes coming soon

At Valley Farm Equestrian Leisure

Yoga is a beautiful practice that helps to improve strength, flexibility and awareness of the body- all things that are vital for a horse rider. This class will begin your yoga journey and help you to improve your riding position and connection with your horse. Suitable for occasional through to competitive riders, the class will help you build your own practice that you can then continue to work on at home if you wish. I’m a fully qualified and very experienced riding instructor as well as a qualified yoga teacher. I will explain how each posture will help you with your riding. So if you want to improve your riding but can’t get any more time on a horse then why not come along and feel the difference.

Please bring a yoga mat if you have one as only a limited number of mats are available to borrow, blanket for relaxation and water.

I’d advise you don’t eat a heavy meal before class, a light snack to keep you going is advisable.
